Beezy (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a closed campus network built for the Barak Valley Engineering College community. We have a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and maintain safeguards that meet or exceed platform standards for Google Play and Indian law. This page explains the safeguards, moderator practices, and reporting tools that keep young people safe on Beezy.
This Child Safety & CSAE Policy covers every Beezy surface, including:
Beezy is restricted to verified BVEC students and community members. During onboarding we verify institutional email addresses, student IDs, or other college-issued credentials. Accounts suspected of being underage or fraudulent are paused until verified manually.
Beezy maintains a dedicated moderation team with CSAE-specific training. Moderators work across time zones to review reports, proactive alerts, and escalations. Key practices include:
Beezy combines human moderation with automated tools:
Every post, rumor, and message in Beezy includes contextual reporting. Users can:
We cooperate with law enforcement agencies in India and abroad. When CSAE is confirmed, Beezy will:
Beezy runs in-app reminders and campus workshops in coordination with BVEC clubs to educate students about consent, reporting, and online boundaries. We publish a short CSAE checklist inside our Community Guidelines so new members understand expectations before posting.
When CSAE material is reported, we immediately quarantine the data, restrict internal access, and purge it after legal obligations are met. We prioritize survivor privacy and connect affected students with BVEC counseling services when requested.
We review this CSAE framework quarterly alongside external advisors and update our tooling and moderator training whenever new risks emerge. Feedback from users, campus authorities, and regulators directly informs these updates.
